PRIVACY NOTICE

Who is responsible

The Pit Combat Academy team manages the information you submit to the academy.

What we collect and why

We collect an adult or parent/guardian’s name, email address, phone number, selected training groups, any optional comment you provide, and agreement to receive opening updates. We use this to contact you by email, phone or text about academy opening and classes. Please do not submit children’s names, dates of birth or medical information.

Our lawful basis for these updates is your consent. Registering interest does not reserve a place or enrol anyone in a class.

Storage and access

We store registrations in the academy’s database. Authorised academy organisers can access them to manage your enquiry. We do not sell your details.

Our live hosting provider is Railway, and Resend processes confirmation emails when email delivery is configured. These providers may process information outside the UK. See Railway’s privacy information and Resend’s privacy information.

How long we keep it

We will remove waitlist details when no longer needed and no later than 12 months after submission, unless you separately enrol and are given a new privacy notice. You can ask to leave the waitlist sooner. Any necessary record of a withdrawn consent will be limited to what is needed to honour your request.

Your choices and rights

You may withdraw consent at any time by replying to an academy update or contacting the academy directly. This does not affect earlier lawful processing. You can request access, correction, deletion or restriction of your information, and portability where applicable.

If you have a concern, contact us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
